Adults and juniors (from the age of about 12) can come along and learn how to cut and polish gemstones. We have a good selection of rocks already cut into slices that you can choose from to have a go.
We will explain the whole process to you as you go along. In this way we can match our teaching and supervision to your preferred learning style. Even if you’ve never tried it before, we aim to help you to cut and polish your first stone in one evening. It’s another of those skills that takes a couple of hours to learn but many hours to master.
We have all the appropriate safety gear at the Club and we will teach you how to use the diamond cutting saws, grinders and polishers safely.
